Palaweño band releases debut single Sapat Na under Mabuhay Music Group record label.

Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines - November 10, 2023: A Palawan-based young band named "Bandang Polo" releases their debut single Sapat Na under Mabuhay Music Group record label making them the first band/group artist under the Mabuhay Music Group record label.

Their single entitled "Sapat Na" is an alternative rock song that is about an unexpressed feelings and emotions of a young boy, about high school ages, to his admired classmate. This young boy is a nerd or studio type of student that prioritizes his academics over his emotions. So for him, as for now, it is enough to have at least a glimpse of his crush. It’ll be enough for now the small engagement they have through social media. This is a song of unconfessed feelings.

Bandang Polo is composed of Angelo Clint John Sanico, Romar Escasa, Kevin Florentino, Paul Libres, and Jeo Pintuan, who first met and played together as members of the school band at San Jose National High School.

Through this release, Bandang Polo wants to encourage the youth nowadays to prioritize their studies, family, dreams, and passion over their emotions. 

Soon after their debut release, Bandang Polo has been featured by Palawan News and other local media outlets. 

"It is an exciting time for this group of very young students and also an exciting time for our record label. There are currently a lot of progress going on. Not only we have released our first band music, we also are making good progress in our music promotions, playlisting strategies, among other things. We have many more music to release next year. We have also recently signed a contract with Believe Music who will become Mabuhay Music Group's distributor. We are really working towards giving our audience great music that will resonate with them, songs that will inspire them, and sometimes make them laugh or sometimes cry.", says Jolito Dumadag, president of Mabuhay Music Group.
