Judy Lou Benitez (Artist Name: Judy Benitez), an artist of Mabuhay Music Group record label makes it to the finals a.k.a. Huling Tapatan of Tawag Ng Tanghalan music competition - a segment of It's Showtime by ABS-CBN. 

It is a dream come true to Judy Benitez who as been auditioning for Tawag Ng Tanghalan for many years from Misamis Oriental.

The seventh season of Philippine amateur singing competition Tawag ng Tanghalan, titled Tawag ng Tanghalan: Ikapitong Taon, was an amateur singing competition airing as a segment of the noontime variety television show It's Showtime. The season premiered on July 3, 2023. This is the first regular season to air on GTV.

The season was concluded on January 27, 2024, making it the second shortest regular season, following the fifth season. Rea Gen Villareal ended up winning, while Eunice Encarnada became the runner-up.

Judy Lou Benitez was defeated in the finals by Aboodi Yandog​ of Suquijor.
