Bandang Polo

In the picturesque city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines a truly inspiring story unfolded in March 2023. It all began when a group of high school students from San Jose National High School joined forces to create Bandang Polo, a band that would change lives and inspire hope.

Bandang Polo loved playing alternative rock, and they used their music to tell stories of resilience and hope. Their songs became anthems of positivity for their generation.

But they didn't stop at making music; they believed in giving back. They organized charity events and concerts to help their community. Their journey shows us that with determination and kindness, we can all make a positive difference in the world through music and unity.

On November 10, 2023, Bandang Polo will release their debut single called Sapat Na, a song that is about an unexpressed feeling of a young boy about high school age to his admired classmate. This song is menat to encourage the youth nowadays to prioritize their studies, family, dreams, and passion over emotions.

Southrace

Southrace is one of Mindanao, Phillippine’s premiere alternative rock bands, that fuses rhythmic instrumentals with entrancing words into a distinctly soulful Pinoy music. 

Composed of Jovy on the lead guitar and vocals, Glenn on bass guitar, Nilo on rhythmic guitar, and Ches on the drums, Southrace is a concoction of four talented men serendipitously crossing paths to unite in one unique sonata. Ordinary men with big dreams – Jovy, Glenn, Nilo and Ches never fail to surprise an audience as they transform into extraordinary performers in every blow-your-heads-off onstage spectacle. 

Southrace beats to distinct and diversified experimental compositions ranging from classical to upbeat melodies. Such multiplicity in skills and output is thanks to the members’ diverse influences such as the immortal resonance of The Beatles, the more modern Green Day and Dream Theatre, and even the prided local static of Smooth Friction.

U-Fretz is a multi-talented and creative singer, songwriter/composer, beat producer and a dancer.

At his early age he engages himself to dancing. Not until he reaches his high school years and find himself really interested to music. He then started creating his own songs, song covers and beat. It was never an easy journey for U-Fretz since he is a working student "Call center sa gabi and Student sa umaga". Music has always been his escape from the struggles he's been through to pursue his dreams that's why he was able to write his first ever released song "Hustle".

Sweeney Banac

Sweeney Banac is an aspiring singer and music producer from Cagayan De Oro, Philippines where she discovered her love for music by singing in the church choir and joining singing contests.

She takes her passion on a different level in studying Music Pedagogy Voice Emphasis. A lover of pop and jazz, Sweeney also shares her music through her cover songs in her YouTube channel where she expresses her range and personality as an artist. Her influence extends not only in her school but also in the city’s local brand endorsements.

I'm Divine Merc Mabayo Ybañez from the Southern Philippines, 22 years of age and singing is my natural way of self-expression. I am an event singer mostly performing on weddings and sometimes performing on other similar gigs . "Paalam Muna", my debut single and is a dream come true for me because it is a major step-up in my music career.

My favorite music genre is RnB and Soul. My family encouraged me to be a musician from a very young age and they are the reason why I am where I am today.

I love Bruno Mars. I love his style and especially because he can sing and dance, something that not every performing artist can do.

Judy Benitez

I am an emerging versatile singer from the southern region of the Philippines. I discovered my love for music at a young age and I expressed them by joining in different Songwriting and Singing competitions. 

I am a lover of pop rock and soul types of music. My debut single entitled "I Am A Possibility" showcases my passion and a little bit of my style as a musician. It also inspires me to continue to step up and always create that possibility and continue to reach for that dream.

Very recently I reached my dream by becoming the daily winner and the defending champion of the Tawag Ng Tanghalan national singing competition of It’s Showtime noontime show of abs-cbn. In my performances I received multiple standing ovations from the judges. I also left a very respectable judge Sir Ogie Alcasid teary-eyed during one of my performances.

I am humbled and at the same time proud of what I have accomplished so far. And I believe that God has a bigger and wider plan for me. And that the best is yet to come.

I am reaching out to everyone all over the world through my songs and inspire them to keep pushing and reaching for their dreams even if at times they seem impossible.
